Lemon 3 Lodge

Lemon3 Lodge is a modern and trendy 4 star guest house, situated just outside of Kirkwood, near Addo Elephant National Park Kabouga Gate in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

Offering you a haven of tranquility and beautiful views of the mountains from gardens. The Addo Elephant National Park Kabouga section is just a few minutes away. And with drive through the Sunday River valley, with all its citrus orchards, you can enter Addo's Main Gate. (35 km)

We offer 5 modern styled air conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and basin. All rooms have their own satellite TV with decoder, coffee- and tea facility, comfortable chairs, table and writing desk.

Lemon3Lodge has a high social commitment with the local community. Due to donations into our Dutch charity, "Nkosi Foudation", we can provide a healthy basic meal  to the poorest children of  Aqua Park township. 

A 1,5 hour township tour is  offered and optional to all our guests. On route to the locations, you will hear all about the citrus farms, lemon trees and the harvesting. In Aqua Park , we visit one of the Nkosi Foundation-supported projects, the Machaba Soup Kitchen. 

In the second location of Bergsig, you meet a foster mother who raised over 25 orphans. And finally in the Xhosa settlement Moses Mobhida, you can see the 'traditional mudhouses'.

Of course, it is really great to enjoy and stay in the beautfiul place of South Africa but we also like to show you just a bit of the real life.
