Simon Brokke.
Co founder and responsible for, marketing and the running of the European sales office in the Netherlands where he has resided since 1993. Born and raised in Kimberley South Africa he has a passion especially for the Kalahari, Namib and Karoo. He is also passionate about sculpting, painting and photography and has in the past years had his work exhibited as a recognised artist in several countries. Occasionally he leads a special Art Safari mostly through the deserts of Southern Africa..

Bart Onderweegs.
Co Founder and responsible for the daily running of our South African booking office. Born and raised in Holland up to his 14th birthday he emigrated with his parents to South Africa where he completed his schooling. Bart speaks several languages fluently and is trained as a guide for the whole of Southern Africa specializing in culture and history. His final years of schooling plus living with his family in Gauteng province has given him a rightful place as a member of the rainbow nation (South Africa) where he has lived most his life..

Anja Kornet
Anja was born and raised in Cape Town and moved with her husband and sons to the Netherlands in the early 1990’s. Having run her own guesthouse in South Africa until she left for the Netherlands she loves working with people and different cultures. She is in charge of the sales and administration at our European office when she is not travelling and meeting different people and discovering other cultures.

Sarah van Schalkwyk
Born and raised in Kimberley she specialises as a guide for battlefields of the Boer war. Before gracing our team with her presence, she works fulltime as a guide at the Magerfontien battlefield. She now heads the administrative side of both our Southern African offices. She also quite often is our liaison with accommodations, other operators, guides etc.

Lena Ames (Namibia)
Lena is LB’s manager at our Windhoek office. Born and raised in Dordabis, Namibia where she finished school and studied tourism at the City of Guilds of London Institute. She is a lover of nature and feels right at home in beautiful Nambia!

Selwyn Brokke
Selwyn was born and partially raised in South Africa. He has just finished his tourism studies and is partly responsible for the websites. His passion for kites and other related sports is what keeps him busy as well as developing a special range of packages for the younger more adventurous traveller.
