	Balloon Safari Balloon flights take place at sunrise while the air is still cool and stable, before the earth heats up. In windy, rainy or otherwise marginal conditions the pilot will postpone or cancel the flight (safety is the prime consideration) but generally flying conditions are good, and the cancellation rate is low. Brief itinerary

Starting in the fairest Cape you have a short time to relax and enjoy. Chose any of the following activities such as a visit to the wineries in Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, see the world from the top of Table Mountain or visit the Cape of Good Hope before taking the road to the north. From the Cape Town, the route travels through an ever-changing landscape passing the Cederberg Mountains, Namkwaland and eventually after entering Namibia going to the second largest canyon in the world. From the Fish River Canyon the route takes you south and via either Aus or Luderitz (and a visit to Kolmanskop ghost town) entering the oldest desert in the world. From this point you will travel through the Namib Naukluft Park towards the Sesriem Canyon. Staying over in the area, you have a full day to explore the canyon and Sossusvlei. Going towards the coast the route goes through the lovely German colonial town Swakopmund where there are many different daytrips and excursions possible in the direct area.

En route to Twyfelfontein a short stay over at or near the mining town of Uis offers you the chance to complete the visit in the area (also the Brandberg White Lady rock paintings). Frome here the route goes more inland and in the direction of Khorixas or Twyfelfontein. Here you can experience many breathtaking views and scenery. From this point, you travel to the famous Etosha National Park. Here you can drive through the park and enjoy viewing many animals (incl. the big 5) and the vast open spaces of the Etosha pans.

Leaving Etosha you will travel to the well known Waterberg Plateau Park for a short visit en-route to the Kalahari desert and Gobabis. Just outside the town of Gobabis you will stay over at a lodge and have the opportunity to visit a real Bushman village. Meet the Bushman on their terms and with integrity and learn more about these fascinating people. To end you visit you will travel to Windhoek the capital of Namibia where you can relax before resuming your journey back home. On request flights Windhoek - Cape Town can be included in package offered by us.

Recommended duration: These trips are offered at a minimum amount of travel days suitable for the route and may be extended and are often possible to do in reverse. When requesting a price indication or quote we need to know the port, date and time of arrival and departure. If your flights are not booked yet we require the expected arrival and departure details of when you wish to travel. Should you have more time available we suggest you contact us for assistance in making a unique route to suite your requirements.

All cost estimates or price indications are on average accurate to +/- 1,5% of actual price, and are based on prices for services required in the period you wish to travel. Included in our price indication you also get an overview of extra-expected costs you will encounter whilst travelling like entrance fees, fuel, eating out etc. Prices for quotes are always based on provisionally made bookings and are therefore valid for a limited time only. What is icluded in our price and what may you expect for your money?

Accommodation: we generally use the small scale more personally run establishments like bed & breakfasts, guesthouses, small lodges, guest farms and some boutique hotels. We also have a limited selection of the smaller and better 5 star establishments but generally work with 3 to 4 star accommodations. Due to the low population, density and relative large size good accommodation in Namibia is limited. Except for the smaller more personally run establishments we also offer a number of larger accommodations. A rustic and tranquil setting or charming country style building with lots of character and welcoming staff enjoys our preference above large organisations. In any cost estimate or price indication, we will give you an itinerary based on place name or national park visited. This is because we are mostly working with small-scale accommodations and can only offer specific accommodations once we have finalised your itinerary and you are satisfied with our price indication. Once this is, done we will provisionally book all accommodations (and other services) then offer you a quote that will be valid for a limited time only. Any price estimate/price indication or quote is for free and without any obligation whatsoever. Finally yet importantly good value for your money is important.

Our prices are as fully comprehensive as is possible checked regularly on exchange rate variations. Except for the accommodation and vehicle rental or transport including driver guide we include wherever possible and/or applicable local taxes, airport shuttles etc. See below for more information on what is included.

CAR RENTAL
Usually included in our car rental are the following
• Unlimited kilometers.
• Airport collection costs.
• Local taxes.
• WA/BA-Insurance.
• CDW-Insurance(damage to rental vehicle)
• Extra Maximum No Risk insurance
• TP-Insurance(theft of vehicle).
• Extra cover glass, tyres and undercarriage.
• PAI- insurance (personal accident insurance).
• Extra driver: 1 extra driver included thereafter +/- € 15 administration fee per extra driver
• Contract fee: included only in South Africa.

Should you be picked up by our shuttle we will arrange for your rental vehicle/s to be delivered to your accommodation at a pre determined time. Cost for this service are payable locally only and vary (average at € 20,- per vehicle). For border crossing travel you will require extra documentation from the rental company. We will arrange for these documents to be ready at the collection or drop off point but the costs for these services can only be paid locally by credit card.
