Meander on a 1 hour walking tour of the Cape Malay Quarter known as the Bo-Kaap the whole of which is a national monument as many houses date back to the 17th century during Dutch VOC rule. Visit the colorful houses on the cobbled streets and interact with the residents. Visit the museum which reveals the history of slavery and the incredible spirit of the descendants who are of Indonesian origin . Enjoy traditional Cape Malay cuisine in a private home.Visit the Cape Flats -Visit Langa one of the oldest townships, Khayelitsha or Guguletu. Quench your thirst with umqobothi – African beer.
